Because it still isn't THAT acceptable in society to talk about feelings with your guy friends. I think it should be - maybe if guys could discuss the relationships/interpersonal problems with their friends, they'd learn from the discussions and reflections and grow and mature from it.

Because men suffer from testosterone poisoning and are harder to talk to. I just said this to someone else a minute ago, but here we go... I have been saying for years that the WHO needs to get involved. It affects 50% of the population for God's sake! There has to be some sort of serum or vaccine or something....

Men usually talk more about the "guy" things with guys and more of the "feeling" things with girls. Guys don't want to appear "weak" or "feminine" around their guy friends. So when they want to talk about things that may involve their feelings or being depressed or creative things, they usually talk better with women.

read men are from mars and women are from venus. Actually, guys don't talk much at all either to men or women. If a guy is talking to guys it's all about one upsmanship, if I guy is talking to a woman, he just has to listen and say "really" once in a while.

We have this macho thing goin on to show we're tough guys in front of our male colleagues, this limits the topics we talk about and the things we say in the topics we do talk about. It's easier to open up to a woman, plus it's a woman- u wanna get in her pants and talking is a way to start.

Because you can't let your guard down around most other men. It's not "manly" to show certain emotions around other men. When it comes to being open about feelings men suck.
Is it just me or can you see how this directly fuels homophobia?

It's a challenge to match 1 of our words with 10 of theirs. We are trying to sift through the complexity of female communication and keep it simple.

Its easier for me to talk to guys cuz I have more in common. If I'm in the zone, I can talk to girls, but it takes more effort.
