Try a little WD40. Spray it on a old rag and put it on the gum Try to get the gum a little wet with it. Ice is also good but I know WD40 will get gum off a sofa and a TV

Chew another piece of gum and then blot the gum on your phone with the newly chewed gum...or just throw out your phone and get a new one.

take a piece of ice and hold it to the gum untill it gets hard. then gently scrape it and repeat with the ice as needed.

oh, i thought you said gun. haha, well. maybe you shouldn't hold it hostage. the phone company might get mad. do you get double homicide charges? one for the phone and one for the battery. oh well, for your GUM issue, try scraping it off with a pen or pencil or something. i'd say peanut butter but its not hair.
