I am 5'11" and over 300lbs. I am looking for a car to buy that is roomy enough for me to be comfortable. I would prefer something other than a truck or large size SUV.

A mini van or a mid 90's Lincoln Town Car would provide you with the room you need. The Crown Vic, and the Chevrolet Caprice may also work for you.
If you are looking for a new vehicle, your best choice would be a mini van. You could also check out the Honda Accord. It is not too bad for interior room.

Dodge intrepid will be perfect for you! I had one I am 6'2" with the seat all the way back I couldn't reach the pedals without slouching a bit

I am 6'3" 270 and I drive a Honda Element that has another six inches of head room for me.

Try a Honda Element, they do have alot of room
