Women are more relationship oriented than men. Men are more goal and competition oriented. Thus, most women will come across as being more considerate and caring.

I think it's because women have to give birth, so that makes them more caring an compassionate towards everything, because they know the effort it took to get that person or animal or whatever there in the first place.

A good comparison to humans are seahorses. The females leave their eggs with the males, so the males are the ones that "give birth" to the babies and rear them first. They take more care of their offspring and are more considerate to other sea creatures.

Its an interesting question. Look at it from this point of view:

Women are biologically and naturally caring, nurturing human beings. We are able to listen and, at times, remove ourselves from the situation so that we can help you completely without bringing ourselves into it.

Men on the other hand are the protectors. Men want to know whether or not they are generally capable - if they make the cut. This isn't negative - men are just more "into themselves" than what women are.

I find it easier to talk to women than men. Guys act all tough and try not to care about feelings. I have had more friends that are women than men. I am a good listener maybe that is why they like me but they also really do care about me.
