What an interesting question! As soon as I read it I called my best friend Robby, he is 44 years old and blind from birth. I asked him what he "sees" when he is dreaming... He responded that he in fact can "see" but since he has never experienced really seeing it is hard to tell if the images are real (like what you and I would see) or imaginary (what he thinks things look like). His other senses compensate for his lack of seeing. Like he hears REAL WELL, things you and I don't even pay attention to have his attention. He senses peoples feelings in unbelievable ways!! He's a great guy :)

If a person were born blind, they dream sounds and shapes of things they have touched. If they were sighted and then went blind, they do have visual dreams like the rest of us

I really don't know...thats a good question. Maybe if they weren't always blind. they would know what things look like to dream about. Wow.....ask your doctor the next time you see him/her. Thats a really good question

They probably hear them, or see colors, maybe. If they have never seen anything how could they picture it.
