It's a place to be superficial and make regular people feel special.
No one really meets anyone seriously on myspace.

I met a wonderful man on myspace been dating (in person not online) for 2 months now. Alot of people are online dating these days.

I don't think the web is a veru good place to look for a seriious relationship! After all you don't know anything about the person, biside that he/she has told you, and God knows if what he/she told you is true! So When meeting someone for the first time, take a friend with you or at least tell someone where you are at, or tell someone the name of the person you are meeting! You need to be very carefull! yeah I found a great person from myspace... millions of people to pick from... not enough time :)
and for the people that are saying watch the news... OVIOUSLY wasn't around when AOL was getting big... or when XANGA was getting big... it's the net you should always be careful NO MATTER WHAT WEBSITE IT IS! EVEN YAHOO ANSWERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MySpace is just as nice a place as AOL and everywhere else. IF YOU CAN'T TAKE THE PRECAUTIONS.. SOMEONE ELSE WILL NOT DO IT FOR YOU!

No, but my fiance cheated on me through myspace an d we broke up for seven monthes. Be careful who you meet- it could be someone already with a girlfriend.

Ya know?...I've only been on it for a bit,but I'm about to get I'm self off of it,it really dose not do nothing for making real friends and as for the abuse,it's so cruel and mean....you got a better shot at signing up at a pay as you go friend club..(I.E. Yahoo Personals) then trying to make it there....MY SPACE SUCKS
