That is true, the wars should be handled by the military. Congressmen and senators dont know what its like and make all these rules that keep us from doing what the military needs too be able to do, look at vietnam the rules made by the politicians cost alot of american lives and kept us from doing what we needed to do. Politicians do not understand war.

Very true, they lost the Korean and Vietnam wars because of the politicians. As i recall, mcarthur want to bomb the bridges between N Korea and China but was denied by the politicians back home. The Chinese were able to mass their infantry against our guys because of the stupid politicians. Don't get me started with the Vietnam war. The US soldiers were vindicated in the first gulf war and the war that toppled Saddam and his Republican Guard...
