I was about 17 or 18. We had a kid though so we kinda had to spend with everyone. I don't think age matters, I think it is how long you have been together. If you are 18 and have been dating for a couple of years, then maybe have holidays together. i don't think you are only going to spend it with just the 2 of you. family is always involved somehow.

I use to work with a Dr. who said that there was an old saying" A daughter is your daughter for life, a son is your son until he takes a wife"

I think that is it, it is true. the holidays will most likely be spent at her parents house anyways

I dont think that your age plays apart too much but how close you are to your boyfreind or girlfriend. Also, if your parents are ok then you should be able to go over there and spend time with his family and should come over and spend time with yours as well.
