To be honest with you, i think it's actually a bonus if two (or hopefully more) personalities of a schitzophrenic person are romantically involved with the same person. This saves the trouble of having to "explain" to the person what you are doing in their bed in the morning! This way you can also know that the person is really and truly in love with you... instead of just one personality of him/her. So no, it's not adultery specially since adultery is a physical matter, not a behavioral or psychological one.

Be serious!! You are describing a relatively rare psychological disorder called multiple personality disorder. If a person has this disorder, they have more problems than worrying about being romatically involved with another personality.

As for schizophrenia, it is a psychological disorder in which a person has physical problem, lack of neurotransmitters such a serotonin and epinepherine, causing a series of problems such as hallucinations, delusions, paranoia, catatonia (freezing in one place), etc. These people do not have multiple personalities but may talk to audible and visible hallucinations that they see..

No. Its not- if you're really diagnosed with this mental disease, you are not held accoutable for most of the things you feel or think, its beyond your control.

Actually for NewRN, MPD is the old name ... the newest transformation of the illness is Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID).

Don't you hate it when they keep changing stuff? :)
