Sounds like you have some major emotional issues. Not all old people are fat and not all people your age are "skinny".

ok..heres the truth...i was skinny once just like you...but i grew this *** cause i figured for the next war i might try airborne so i wanted a little padding to land on, but now that the war is here i can hardly get out of my chair cause i'm so fat so all i can do is sit here and talk about it. but i'm going to start getting in shape soon. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
what I want to know is how come all the young skinny people are out running around having fun while all of us old and fat people are dying?....it isn't fair!

Many of the "old" and "fat" people as you call them have already served their time in the service somewhere along the way. I would say they have every right to discuss war as does any tax paying U.S. citizen or anyone else really for that matter. Just because they may not be serving at present doesn't mean they don't have ideas, opinions or knowledge as to what is going on or may be even what is best. And for your info there are fat people serving presently. They need to get off their chairs and do their pt and quit eating twinkies because we are relying on them to do their military job properly and efficiently to protect our country. So my question is why are there so many overweight people in the service?

The old have already fought these battles, and would gladly go in your place. You say you are young and skinny, yet you ask a question to debate the war. How about if you shut up get your high horse.

JMS actually addressed this issue in an episode of his epic series, "Babylon 5".
One of the issues is that for a great many in DC, including most in the Capital, many Republicans and the current occupants of 1600 Pennsylvania, war is an abstraction. It's something far removed from them and, in their opinion, does not impact them or anyone they know.
Those who have served, including former Secretary of State and General Colin Powell and failed presidential candidate John Kerry, know war in a direct and personal way. Consequently, they are more empathetic to the members of the armed forces and less willing to use the army as a means of first resort.

skinny people are debating the war too. It isn't about the size or age of people debating the issue. There is no point in being in Iraq. Bush doesnt care because he probably thinks of the us military as servants because he has lived a super privileged life.

fat people debate about war because they often sit in chairs planning strategies and seldom work out. some old people in power use their wisdom to influence war as part of an agendas.
skinny people are the ones doing the work, running from here and there, constantly moving too much and not relaxing enough. so they die from exhaustion

I'm not sure fat and skinny have much to do with it, but ...
Wars are mostly started by old, rich people and fought mostly by young, poor people. Do you think Bush, Cheney, Rumsfield would be so cavalier about going to war if there was even a remote chance that they could be injured in it?

People of all ages, shapes, and sizes debate war. Most people that are in the military are skinny.

Because the old and fat people are in to bad of shape to get out of DC unless it's for a nice vacation. The young one's volunteered.

and what would your point be? A load of old fat people standing up and saying nothing? That would help how exactly. Are you a skinny dying person? I pity you fool.
