I'm not over weight, I weigh like 110 pounds, but I want to get in better shape and develop a healthy work out schedule. So, how many miles should I run and how many times a week?

I don't think you would go for this, but for me, I run 26 mile marathons. My time is usually 4:40, or something to that effect. I ususally run out of gas by mile 20, thus I never quite make the 3 hour mark in marathons. I am going to join a running group to improve my time.

I also would like to run in at least one extreme marathon. Extreme marathons are 100 miles. Instead of being two hours, three hours, or four hours, expected times are twenty hours, thirty hours, and forty hours. I would like to run in an extreme marathon, just to say I did that.

running is aerobic, and if youre 110 maybe you dont want to be losing any more weight.

Try developing a weights routine. Build muscle and get toned.

Depends on your age and training. I suggest a good book on running appropriate to your current level of fitness.

If you are just starting out, get good shoes, start sensibly, and get plenty of rest.

Eventually, you should be able to run 6 days a week after lots of base training.
