Some people go out of their way to be politically correct, and yes, that is really irritating. Why lie just to appease someone else? Be true to yourself and your opinions, even if those opinions are not PC, because nothing will change if people are all pulling the wool over their own eyes!
Then again, there are plenty, of racist, misogynistic, sadistic, ignorant people out there who just don't give an damn about what they say and whether they have their facts straight. If you yell loud enough, you'll get someone's attention, and maybe get them to agree with you, if you're half way intelligent.
I think between the PCers and UnPCers are the normal people who know when to speak their mind and when to keep it shut, who have their own distrusts and prejudices but are willing to at least hear the other side out. I think that it all babances out..
...really I do! ; )

Most people are lemmings, waiting for ANYONE to tell em where to squat and lean. It makes me wonder where all this PC crap will lead us? Will it get to the point where people stop communicating altogether, for fear of offending? There are still a few of us out there, who will try to be courteous, but will not submit to someone telling us we need to be more PC. Thats a judgement and since I wont judge others, I do not accept their judgement of me.

Not really they just voice all their hatred and political incorrectness on sites such as these. Haven't you seen all of the racist comments and questions on this site alone? People are just too afraid to voice it, but they sure will write things when they are safe in their own homes. It's pretty sad, I thought we were getting more tolerant of one another, but it's completely the opposite.

Some people have, yes. It seems they will endure whatsoever so that they don't offend you. But I'm not like that. I am usually polite and considerate, but that doesn't prevent me from saying exactly what I think.

yes. i know there are times when i just want to tell a story that has happened in real life, and i have to choose the words carefully or ask the question such as "does speaking this way, or what are you feelings on?" before i can start or finish a story. it sucks.

Yes, that seems to be the popular way now. We need more people popularizing "telling it like it is" to even it out. Then even more to tip the scales. People, speak your mind, we could lose free-speech, and it would only be our fault.

Nope not me. I tell what I'm thinking and if it makes people mad, oh well. I don't beat around the bush, and if someone can't handle my blutness, that's their own problem, not mine.
