I don't think its bad luck at all.
The question would be, would it remind you to much of the person that died, if you had to say the name 20 times a day,
If not than i think its very nice

There really is not a thing as bad luck.
Everyone that is born, dies.
There is no name that hasn't been used before. Naming a child after a loved one is endearing to the person that you miss. Why don't you honor that person's life? The memories of the times you had together.
Don't remember her by her death, remember her life.

Of course it's not bad luck. Daniella is a beautiful name and your cousin would be so pleased.

Some cultures consider it bad luck. The question is, do you? If somewhere in the back of your mind you do, then you will be even more worried as a mom than most moms already are. So if it is going to make you worry, name your baby something else. You'll have a million real things to worry about as a mom, you won't need another (irrational) worry.

Congrats on the bundle and no it is not bad luck. This is a very endearing gesture on your part. Your Aunt and Uncle will be very touched by your thoughtfullness. If you have a boy you could call him Daniel and still be her namesake.
Good luck and have an easy pregnancy.

You don't make bad luck. I think this would show honor. If you have a boy you could use the name Daniel.

No, it's not bad luck. It is a way to remember someone who you loved while she was alive and still love her after her death. Naming babies for loved ones who have died is very usual in some cultures.

No, it's a wonderful way to honor the memory of your cousin. You can even tell your child about her namesake. People have been doing it since time began.

No not bad luck, but think of the consequences that this might bring. There are millions of names you could use, why not give the child her own identity.

Do you mean if it's bad luck to name your child after a dead relative? Well, I was named after both of my grandfathers, who were both dead by the time I was born. And that was not bad luck to me. That was just a sign that my parents loved their fathers.
