The Honda Accord costs more than the Honda Civic. However, there is greater demand for the Civic right now due to high gas prices. You could probably get an Accord VP for pretty close to the price of the Civic EX if you bargained hard.

However, if I were you, (16 years old, first car, paying for it myself), I'd think about the Honda Fit. Fun to drive, safe (curtain side airbags and antilock brakes standard) and inexpensive.compared to both the Civi and Accord. It's interior is also pretty flexible in the way the seats can be reconfigured. You could pack a lot of stuff in that little car when you go off to college. Have a look at one.

dear honda accord is too costly than civic. accord cost somewhat around Rs16-17 lakhs n civic costs around Rs10 lakhs. but being new on d road u mst go 4 honda civic. it completely rocks. it has got a grt luk n grt evrythng in Rs10 lakhs.(1$=Rs45)
