There is no official tally of how we (the military) vote. No one keeps records of it becuase no one tracks what job you hold when you vote. The only way you can surmize who voted for who is if you look at absentee ballots and assume that a percentage of them came from military personnel overseas or out of their home districts. However, even then you're going to be well off because many military personnel don't vote (just like the rest of the population).

Traditionally the military has voted for conservative candidates in the Republican party.

But there is no official record of how we vote and we like it like that, so should you.

There is not one. Like everybody else, members of the military are granted the privilege of the 'secret vote.'

And even trying to come up with one would be a really bad idea.

BTW, I would be very suspicious of any claims that show large numbers of military voters voting for Kerry. He was known for his anti-military voting record during all his years in the Senate.

Military members vote the same way as regular citizens, with their states. Many times because we are away from home we have to use Absentee ballots to do so, but all absentee ballots aren't military. There are other people, ambassadors, families living with embassies overseas, lots of reasons that people use the absentee ballot. So, there really isn't a way to see how the military voted.

Try googling it. Or just try any basic search engine. Maybe AskJeeves would be better. Or search for public census sites.
