Peroxide and baking soda! You so crazy! Buy a really good conditioner and leave it in with a warm towel wrapped around your head for about twenty minutes. Do this a couple times a week. Try not to add any heat to your hair as this will make it worse. Don't brush it too much or let it sit out in the sun. Still bad? Buy some Mayonnaise and let it soak into your hair for about an hour. Good luck. I just dyed my hair white and it is about to fall apart!

OMG, why did you try this? It sounds crazy! Didn't you want to spent the money for a real hair coloring? Anyway, it will take you lots of money now to fix your hair!!!!

Try a mixture of beer and raw eggs first. It will be disgusting, but it could help if your hair is not too damaged. If that doesn't work try Dove for dry hair (don't know how it's called right now). This should help. It helped with my hair when they were dry. You have to take all they have, shampoo, conditioner, and so on.

If all that doesn't help, you'll have to go to a professional hairdresser (where you should have gone in the first place...) and let him see what he can do. Maybe you'll have to have them cut. Was is worth the experience? I hope you are young... when you're young you can do some experiments like that...

as u know now, peroxide and baking soda will not bleach hair (especially dark hair). however to help the dryness use a good conditioner and put a plastic cap or grocery bag and leave it on for about 20 min. if u have to, go to a salon and get help.

live life, just make sure of some things b4 u actually do them!

You need a silk or satin pillowcase. I've seen them at wal-mart. They have a zipper on the side so they stay on your pillow. After you wash your hair and are ready to towel dry..just squeeze out the hair and don't rub. Rubbing will make it frizzy and cause more damage. I don't suggest you buy salon shampoo. Lot's of those can clean your hair too much and with it already dried out swiotch to an OTC brand. I suggest vidal sassoon for the shampoo . It is gentle and then finessee for creme rinse. If you need deeper conditioning, just leave in the finesse for 20 mins. covered with a plastic cap. As your hair get's stronger, you can switch back to another shampoo if you like.

Go to your local beauty supply store and get a deep conditioner, and a hot-oil treatment (i prefer alberto v05). Condition your hair, and DO NOT was as frequently as you used to! Your hair is already dry on that area and over-washing will make it worse. After conditioning/washing, do the hot oil treatment, this will make your hair like and feel soft during your conditioning process until your hair is fully restored.

either get a hot oil treatment and see if it helps or go to a stylest and have them fix it...it might be best to cut the damaged area off
