Well, it's like this: Mexico's the source of at least 50% of the illegal alien problem in the US, and they've stood by and watched it happen all these years, in some cases aiding and abetting, and the long-term result of that is that now Mexicans are seen as collaborators in that regard. Mexico makes a lot of its' money by selling to the United States, selling all kinds of things, INcluding drugs, and that's just one aspect of illegal trade/'business' that's been going on for oh, say, the last 40 years or so. Well, increasingly, it's going Big Time, and Mexico's not shedding a tear, all dry eyes, at the 'miracle' their de-facto policy towards the US has served to disrupt our way of life.
You have to start somewhere, Mexico's as good a place as any. Let's get the border built, and Mexico can 'rediscover' their independence instead of trying to drill sideways into our economy anymore. I want to see the illegals GONE. See ya! Don't go away mad, just go away. Period. Have done with it. Put a lid on ALL immigration for 6 years until we get this mess sorted out. Sorry folks, store's closed, now hiring for new managers...

It is a big problem because most of the Mexicans are illegals and the number is in the millions. The biggest influx of illegals by far is from Mexico, and this is why for all intents and purposes an illegal IS a Mexican. The government of Mexico is actively promoting and encouraging illegal immigration to the US. it is a major problem and your situation is that you are ignorant or willfully blind to it.
Wake up and smell the coffee.

A better question would be why Illegals = Mexicans in this country. My father is an immigrant, he was an illegal for a while, but he's not Mexican. It's just a way to hide racism.
I've even had insensitive friends email me these really insulting emails that have been circulating about some whacked out church signs that are extremely anti-immigration...that really bugs me a lot!
This nation was built on the backs of immigrants, the blood sweat and tears of those looking to be free.
If we aren't to be that nation anymore, we might as well just tear down the Statue of Liberty right now.

I am only one American but to me, Mexicans are human beings. Some think they can find a better life here in el Norte. Some find it. Many don't.
Human beings make choices. The choice to enter a country legally is probably a better choice than to enter illegally.
By definition, an illegal act is a criminal one.
However, by the laws of logic and ethics, an unjust law is no law at all.
Are laws that restrict the natural right of people to cross borders on public property unjust? I tend to think so.
Is trespassing on private property, however, also wrong? Yep, you bet!
Illegal immigration is therefore a complicated issue. My guess is that the solution to illegal immigration is to legalize it, and bring it under not Federal control but local control.

Because statistically, 70%-80% of illegal aliens are Mexican. Also, the first rally I saw, they were flying Mexican flags. I didn't see any others. (they got smarter after that - started carrying american flags). There are less from central and south America because they usually have to go thorugh Mexico, and Mexican law prohibits the immigration of non-citizens through their southern border. Finally, if you look up "illegal", you will see that the word applies to a person or act that is in violation of the law. Last word I had, it was a violation of the law to enter the US without permission, hence "illegal". Throw in the high percentage who drive without a liscense (or insurance), evade income tax, and/or use fraudulent Social Security cards, and I'm pretty sure that a person in the US without permission is actively performing at least one illegal act.

I don't mean to insult you and no hard feelings intended but the town that we live is infested with them. They think we owe them something when they should not even be here. It's their own fault they are hated. I can't speak for the rest of the country but I am entitled to my opinion. Why? I am a true American. I am for other Americans. I didn't say white Americans either before I get a bunch of crap. We abide by the laws here, so should they. It is that simple. My grandparents did it the right way. They didn't come over here shoving the Italian flag in anyone's faces. They learned English. They didn't disrespect people already here the way Mexicans do. They deserve everything they are hearing here and more.

Not only are Mexicans illegals, but anyone that come into this country to live illegally are breaking the law and are criminals. Why should they be given special favor over millions that became citizens lawfully. This is like spitting in their face for the years they waited to become citizens and most unfair to them!

There may be a few Illegal Mexicans that are criminals, but most are decent hard workers. I don't think they are being picked on for being Mexicans.....they, and others, are being picked on because they are simply illegal. They aren't ignorant, they may be desperate though.
Some call them criminals because being illegal is against the law...thus, criminal to breaking immigration rules.

Mexicans do not = illegals and criminals to Americans.
Illegal immigrants = criminals regardless of where they came from.
by crossing the border illegally, illegal immigrants are commiting a crime and are therefore criminals.
Americans generally have no problem with legal immigrants from Mexico or anywhere else.
