The existence of multilingual ballots increases the risk of election errors and fraud.
Furthermore, not only are multilingual ballots an unfunded mandate, but they are a waste of taxpayer funds because they are mandated by the VRA without regard to whether they are actually used.”

I support English only ballots, because as far as I know, no president or senator or anything else we, the citizens, elect, does their campaign in multiple languages. If you have multiple languages on the ballot, you are letting someone who probably has no idea what the candidates stand for, unless they had someone translate everything for them, which is highly unlikely.

Is this a wise decision? Not even close.

'English only' sounds like the right answer to me, if you want to be a US citizen, a great place to start would be by learning our language, then you can work from there....voting is a right of american citizens, publishing ballots in foreign languages lowers the bar to the point where politicians might be inclined to pull a 'fast one'...they're kind of bad about that, gotta watch em...

I am for English only everywhere in this country. This is America and we speak English. Those who come here need to learn the language. Because we are now putting so much into these other languages, there is no reason for people living here to learn the language. This is wrong. I AM TRIED OF HAVING TO DIAL 1 FOR ENGLISH!!! This is America and our language here is English!

I'm for Latin or Esperanto. With a random vote the chance of electing a crook is as good as with a non-random vote. All the same.

In order to vote you have to be a citizen and in order to be a citizen you should learn the language enough to read, speak and understand it.
