I am extremely concerned with identity theft. Since 2005, over 80 million Americans have been affected by identity theft because corporations and/or the government has lost the information through some sort of data breach. This is a HUGE number.

Identity theft is in all the news now, most of the time I check my bank balances just for peace of mind. I don't have any idea what we can do if someone hacks the main banks or other businesses files or removes them from their place of business. This week and last we heard so much happening with this terrible problem. I hope if they are caught they get prison for life. It is going to cost the government and us so much money to clear up our records and get back on our feet if it happens to us. I don't carry things around in my purse like before. I carry just what I need and no more. Let's hope someone slips up and they are caught as soon as possible before more damage can be done .
