Follow your dreams...because what would make you happier? your parents dreams or your own. No one can take away what you don't give to them. So don't give them your dreams, if there everything you want.

Follow your dreams. Sometimes it is hard to see a family member wanting to do something that doesn't seem right and they won't be very supportive. However you have got to follow your dreams whatever may come of them. If you don't you will never know if you could have made it big doing something you absolutely love. Give it time and try to hang in there. They may come around once they realize that not all countries view dancers in the same light.
Good luck!

Honestly, keep working at it. Sure there are some problems along the way, but later onyour work can pay off. Just because you live in small town doesn't mean you have to stay there, and just becasue they say it's "for fools" doesn't make it true. So if dancing is what makes you happy, do it. Someday they'll see your true talent.. and plus, you shouldn't have to regret not doing it.

try thinking of moving to another country where even though you'll be away from your family, but you'll be living on your dreams of becoming a dancer. For the time being, save some money, and when you get a real opportunity, move out.
All the best!

It's your dream so you go for it. It's that simple. Don't give up either. If your parents won't keep supporting you, find something you can do to support yourself but keep the dream as long as it gives you a purpose and happiness.

Follow your dream, but you'd better have a back-up plan.
