When I greet a nun, I address them as Sister.
I once met a Buddhist monk and when greeting him I bowed because in their culture it means I honor the holiness in you.

Depends on which religion you're talking about. For an Orthodox Christian monk or nun, you would ask for their blessing ("Father, bless!", or "Mother, bless!") and bow slightly, and cup your hands together to receive the blessing (which they would typically do by making the sign of the cross over your hands).

Monks/Nun are humans just like everyone else, so if you are going to show a nun/monk respect show the same amount to everyone else.We are all Children of God.
