Ok very weird. I pick this girl up at her house and as soon as I open the door she hocks and spits on my face. Ok Im pissed then she explains that in her country of Ghana this is standard and acceptable. Geez Like I really need this.

I don't blame u for getting upset. That is gross, u should have reminded her that she's not in her country and in this country it's not standard or acceptable when someone spits in your face, it gross and it could also cause them ( the spitter) a blackeye.
I know that must to have been a shock when she did this, I think I would have called the date ff right then and there
She will learn soon enough that she may not should do this because someone is gonna hurt her( I understand that she has to fellow and respect country traditions but she's here and she may in up in a lot of fights if she keeps this up) I just hope someone schools her

in the movie MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING everyone spits on their child to keep the devil away and also for good luck if you ask her sometime that you really dont appreciate her doing that then if she takes it well then she must respect you alot. and if she doesn't take it well and you think that is bothering your relationship then oh well you should just say good bye!!!
