Everyone has their own view of hell, obtained from one source or another. Have we been convinced one way or another? Could life be heaven and dying be hell?

Both. Created in our doing and of our own mind. Dying is a beautiful experience, but I don't recommend anyone go out
and prove me either right or wrong. Life, itself, could be, at times , Heaven and other times, a real Hell.

For me I think Hell is a creation of our own mind - in fact I think it is a state of mind. I think we create our own hell on earth with negative emotions (that attract more negativity) and if we are deep enough in when we die, I think it interferes with our "return to source" journey (which is so often called heaven).

I think that whatever we think happens, is what actually happens for each of us - that part of the journey can not be shared. Those consumed by guilt, for example, will think they are going to hell when they die and when they do they will create it for themselves as they had always imagined it. I think that heaven will be very much as each of us imagine it also - for it is the myth that we believe in most that will help us in the final transition.

Peace!

Maybe it's the other way around, life is hell and dying is heaven...
I personally think what people say as Hell was made up. What happens to you when you die depends on what kind of life you lead. After reincarnation time after time, you get it right and reach the end goal.
But yes I think it's just a way for religious groups to scare you to belive as they do..
I say just trust your heart...

Hell is a place that only exists in the mind. Its one of those beliefs imprinted on the minds of children. Most all of us had some kind of "lesson" about what happens to the bad people. If you attended sunday school like myself, you were taught that the sinners went to hell. What they failed to tell us-was that this was only their beliefs and we could choose not to believe it. It wasnt until i was in college (after attending catholic high school) I took classes on other religions and philosophies and learned that i can choose to believe otherwise.

I was finally able to free my mind of the shackles created by my parents and elders and choose to not believe in heaven, hell or religion at all.

Hell is being on earth. Heaven is a state of mind.

No, hell is a real place and it was created by God. But sometimes we create a certain kind of hell in our own lives and mind. But if you will call on the Lord he will help you. Of that I am sure.

In my 45 years on earth I would say that hell is here. In my bussiness I get to watch my customers grow old and die; sometimes from cancer or other diseases but everyone of them never gives up. Their health, their sanity drives me to understand why we are all here; we are here for a reason that none of us will ever understand. Enjoy your life for you're the only one that can.

The Bible tells us that hell is complete separation from God. They will be sent into the lake of fire which the Bible has explained. Heaven is...well...you should know what Heaven is.

The way I see it, hell is an invention of man and doesn't exist. I believe that hell is a sort of bogeyman for grownups- "Be good and do as you're told, or you're going to be punished!".
