I'd want to witness the arrival of the first human life on earth. With all the theories of evolution, creation and so on, it would be nice know, once and for all, just how the hell we got here.

I would go back to the time of the Ancient Greeks. No specific event, just to that time period. I admire the Greek culture so much. I'm a bit of a renaissance man. I remember learning about Ancient Greece in school and feeling in such awe of their accomplishments in technology, philosophy, music, architecture, and in many other things. I would simply watch and learn their ways because I still insist they were one of the smartest civilizations that ever lived. If only war wasn't so destructive. Alas, I guess we'll all die in the end...

I'd go back to the beginning of the Universe and talk to the guy who's responsible. I think he designed attorneys a little too crooked, and most of the foods that taste good end up being bad for you. I don't know about slugs and mosquitos either.

History's explanation and Theologians guesses and theories of certain events cause's us to want to see what really happened. For me there are so many but what I would most like to have the answers to is how we as a human race began.
Of course we have the Bible and Darwin's theory of evolution. so what came first? the chicken or egg, is what I want to know?
