(sigh) Heaven will be completely different from the world. There is no need for a job there and u might not recognize your family since we'll all have a different body. That is because if we look into God's eyes we would die because his eyes are two balls of gleaming fire or whatever. Well it's fire! Why don't u read the Bible to find out this stuff. If u don't have one then buy one.Or if u're just too lazy then u dumb.
PLEASE!Don't believe, whatever u do don't believe Mamma Mia's answer.A lot of people in the world know a little about heave by reading the Bible or just by having our parents read it to us or by going to church.
DON'T believe puzzleman either!uuh!
Denem77 is right. We won't have cars since they're a human creation.

The streets being paved with gold is just a metaphore my friend. It is a phrase used to decribe the glory there. Yes you will see your family. no one knows exactly how it is going to be and everyone has different beliefs. I believe that all Christian beliefs have weight. I was a baptist my whole life my husband a mormon his dad a catholic. You could talk with a priest or invite the missionaries over to you house. They have pretty specific beliefs. I know you will see your family, I know my grandmother and great grandmother were near death speaking to long dead relatives. Why would they be doing that if it wasn't true? Good luck.

some beleive the bible is meant to be intrpeted and some takes it literally god is building heaven why need streets? well even an angel has to land somewhen before going in a building and to make it look nice. who wants to go to heaven and see dirt or just emptyness?. ... well anythings better than burning for all eternity and cant die!
ur dead u dont need to eat! so no cooking or trash or bathrooms or beds maybe chairs. angels fly remember the wings the bible will explain just go to church hopefully get saved and ur questions wil be answered.
most any way everything wil be explained when u get to heaven ... by the way who wants to burn for all eternity and still have questions about earth? i doubt well have any parts any ways with no need to pee or have sex. every will be known as brother or sister. ther is no parents or wives. well forget everything no need to remember our troubles on earth when were in paradise.!!!
when ur dieing, seing dead relatives just helps u pass on more easily. Puzzle man is talking about a comedy version of hell. kinda like in little nicky..

The answers to all your questions and more can be found in Randy Alcorn's new book entitled "Heaven". You will see your mother and wives IF they went to heaven. You'll recognize them. You will have responsibilites in heaven. You won't live an aimless spiritual existence. The streets are gold to demonstrate the beauty of God's {heavenly} creation. They will provide transit to various places. Not sure what mode of transportation we will have but Jesus was able to disappear and reappear in various places after his resurrection. So, I don't think we'll have cars.

No one of us here in this world can tell you about things in heaven. You will find out when you get there BUT in the meantime, don't waste all your days worrying about what Heaven will be like....use your time wisely on this earth to help make it a better place each and every day.

I wish your question was easy to embrace, I shall begin by explaining this; things of the bilical text has been modified to better suite the needs of the powers at hand...however when such ideals as chariots and roads of gold or even pearly gates were used, it suited those of the times it was written to better describe visions and phenomena unexplanable such as ufos, celestial lights, obductions(angelic visitations)spiritual paths and channels(roads of shinning or gold),you see the fault that you and we of this day and age are so far fetched from the morals of all scriptures of the ancient times is religeous selfish richness and rich leaders....they are to lazy and afraid to include all of african cultures as having hand in the scrolls in order to see what the africans of ancient times lived like. this would allow you to overstand the wonders as the pyrimids and your question.for you would know where your beloved are and would know how to treat them, you would know why the confused parts of the scrolls could not be completly comprehended by foreign lands through theft but by inclusion and counsel from the decendents,Unfortunately all hopes of that is lost due to the roman conquest creating the scattering of peoples and forcing newly created tribes to be formed and highpriest scatter to hide these sacred scrolls every where before their captivity and lynchings.....then came the African slave trade that dehumanized these very peoples you read about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!hope i answerd you thouroughly....

I think, maybe, that you might be sent in the other direction, and there, you will cook and clean. Yes, you will be naked, and between your chores, that big, fat, hairy guy will chase you around, looking for action. All your wives will vote for it. Bring your asbestos gloves and underwear. Carry as many ice cubes as you can. Your pretty pink bunny slippers ? Forget them.

If you have that many(ALL! how many did you have?) wives, it sound like the least of your problems is streets of gold. How about some repentance.
Just rest in the fact that GOD has it under control-

It will be exactly what you want it to be. That's why it's called
heaven.
To some, hell IS heaven and vesy visey.
Don't listen to Curious2, Puzzleman's answer was excellent.
