No, it wasn't rude but the person is going to end up doing it again anyway, most people are just like that. If i saw them doing it again or if they egg my house i would call the cops on them for egging the house and surfing on top of the car, its not like you were trying to be rude or mean, you were just trying to help someone who could have had their life taken away.....the person should be thankful you warned him.

Ok, Im a kid. I don't do stupid crap like that, dangerous stunts etc. I have seen things on the news of kids who die from doing stupid crap all the time and their parents are devastated.

If you tell them you are gonna call the police they will just leave and go do it somewhere else.

Next time, take down the plate number, or simply call the cops and tell them. Hopefully the police will take a punitive action that isnt so severe to create Rebels out of the kids, but to discourage them from such actions. And no you aren't being rude, because some people are just idiots and need to be told things. Just take a different approach next time.
