Stop you age has nothing to do with it Read the story of David when he was anointed King he was your age. (1 Samuel 16 ). No your not confused, If you can sing then its a gift given by God Don't be like the guy in the parable that hid his talent in the sand because he was scared to used it.
See singing as a gift from the Almight. Give it back to Him one song at a time, one place at a time. When you have an opportunity to minister Open your heart to God Ask Him for a song or two or three to share with His People then go to your Bible and asking Him again for a Word for that hour. God know how will be there and what they need to hear. Open your heart and God will fill it with His Song and with His Word. It is not two callings but one. When you step out in in front of His people allow God to use you both in Song and sharing His Word.
It is not be an either or type of choice it is both. I ask you why does it have one or the other why can' t it be both.
Be careful do not throw your pearls down in front of pigs - do not listen to unbelievers - do not let them discourage you - they know nothing of spiritaul things. (1 Corinthians 2:14)

Have you been baptized yet? I really think that a baptism should be done before you venture on a path to ministry. This is what Jesus did.
Plus once you are baptized you will be able to hear the Holy Spirit more clearly on what you should do next.
I think that singing and preaching can go hand in hand. You can send messages through your music! I know whenever I need a little reminder or a quick pick me up I always turn to the Bible or some worship music, works everytime!
But before you make a decision I suggest you get baptized if you haven't already!
Oh and prayer, prayer, prayer, and don't be afraid to wait for the answer! Sometimes God needs to do a little more work in us to before we can fufill our His purpose for our life. Just because the doors are open doesn't mean they are the ones you should go through.
Pray that God open the doors that only He can open and close the doors that only He can close!
I hope that helps, and I will be praying that God bless you in whatever it is you do!
God Loves YOU

Sing!! Anything can happen later (Preaching).
I LOVE to sing---solos in my church, or duets, or trios, and I sing in my choir. It is really fulfilling, singing for God--it brings honor and glory to Him when you sing for Him .
You could get two or three friends to sing with you .
You can preach the Gospel by singing hymns. Most of them are taken from Scripture . Besides, you can preach at school by telling your friends what God has done for you. That's all He wants you to do. Pretty simple preaching, isn't it?

Pray like crazy. Learn to relax when you pray and to rid your mind of everything else and God will help guide your thoughts. Your thoughts will direct you somewhat to what God wants you to do. You can spread God's Word and sing at the same time... music reaches so deep into MY heart I cannot begin to describe it. Just pray... you are young and it's tough to find a definite answer but God will answer your prayers... in time He will answer them.

Mother Nature is the one who encourages singing...
You don't have to be famous to enjoy it.... That's why there is karaoke for those who just love to sing.
sometimes when you have a natural talent karma steps in and opens doors. Singing is great for us all.
Sing about life, the good the bad the ugly,

u r confused. Not to offend you, but if u really think god takes the time to tell u to sing while leaving thousands and millions to die from war or natural disaster, you need to grow up a bit.
Think for yourself.

IF you listen God may be saying evangelize. That usually incorporates both music, shared witness and preaching.
