His name is Finny and he is the greatest dog we have ever had. He is friend to all, cats included. Many people think he is a mutt, and some say that he is a purebred of an obscure breed.

.he is the cutest! seems like he has a great temperament, and loves to have fun and cuddle! definitely not a full breed though.. he looks like a mix between a pit bull and a boxer... with perhaps a bit of Shepherd or mastiff but in a much smaller amount than the pit bull / boxer amount, I have 4 dogs myself one of which is a pit bull, and the other 3 are larger than that ! I read a lot of dog books and watch all the dog shows etc... and test myself all the time to determine what breed a dog is or what mix breed it is... its actually a hobby of mine when perusing the newspaper and looking at the shelter dog pictures they always list... and I've become quite good at it ...lol.. mixed breeds are often the most intelligent and interesting ..... and it looks like a great match , with plenty of love on both ends! dogs are great !best wishes!

He could be a pit bull of some sort, or maybe a boxer mix, bulldog mix, mastiff mix - something along those lines. I'm willing to bet he's got some pitty in him. They're great dogs! He's a damn good looking dog regardless! Best of luck with him!

Bullenbeisser / Bärenbeisser (bull-biter / bear-biter) Molosser type breed - smaller variety of this dog is ancestor of the modern Boxer and looks just like your dog (who is very cute snuggled up with his kitty-cat pals!). See pictures of this breed at the first 2 websites below.
I also found a bulldog breed called a Banter Bulldogge and your dog could definately be one of those. Check out the pictures on the 3rd and 4th websites. Its your dog!!!!

He is a cutie! Looks like a boxer with a little shepherd mixed in. There may be another breed in there but his body shape, coloring, ears and fur strongly suggest boxer. We had a boxer/shepherd mix and she was a sweetie too. Good family dog. Glad you have such a good animal for a pet.

Looks like a pit bull or Staffordshire terrier. Pit bull terrier Delilah was my most loving dog. She loved everything except three wheeler ATVs.
