I went to a Tarot card reader today. I was a bit skeptical, but I just have one question: Is it possible to tell the number of children and initials of your future spouse from Tarot cards?

I just recently began reading tarot cards myself. Reading cards is not telling the future. It is using the cards that are found in your spread to interpret certain things in your life. What the meaning of one card seems to relate to with one person it can be something else to another. If she was telling you the number of children that you will have and the initial of your future spouse then it was beacause of one of two things. She was a fake or she truly had another gift, which is very possible, and she got this information from what she felt within (her psychic abilities etc.), not the actual reading itself. Tarot card reading requires an intuition of sorts to translate the cards for the person that you are reading them for but other than that basically anyone can do a tarot card reading.

There are people with the spiritual gift of prophesy. Some will use props (tarot cards, crystal balls etc) to focus. You have free will so yo can make things like the # of children come true if you wish. I good seer will try to show you where you will face choices in life so you can prepare better when faced With the situations.

Most tarot card readers are also clairvoyants or mediums. She was using her higher power to receive that information and did not see it in the cards per se. Question is...was the rest of the reading accurate??

Yep. It may sound stranger than fiction, but I was told the initials of my future spouse, given an in depth description of him, told what he would do for a living, and when I would meet him. I forgot for years and, when I wasn't looking, it happened just as she said. I didn't realize it until after I was wearing the engagement ring...LOL!!! I've not told him about it. He may not marry me....LOL
