My grandchildren have one. He won't even get a job so he can pay child support. Social Services in this state is slack. All dead beat dads should be made to work out of a prison under tight security. A chain gang( literally)where he has to bust rocks or help put the new highways through the states for which he gets paid and all the money goes to support the children he helped get here. Or,,,,castration!!!!!

The US government is just too easy on dead beat dad.

I guess you can call him a deadbeat, but not a dad.

My oldest daughter's biological father has never seen her.
He came to one appointment and then never called or anything.
Till this day, no clue what happened to him. I do not get child support b/c I didin't file. I don't feel the importance of money regardless of what it can do for her. It's about family and making it with the ones you love.
Life is hard right? It's not dependent though.

Oh, and he lives 30 minutes away.

yeah, unfortunatley I do. He owes over 5 K in back child support, and the order was only for about $25 every two weeks! Oh yeah, and the fact I haven't seen him in like 4 years and I think (not sure) I saw him in a store and he just glared at me.

when was the last time you sent him a fathers day card or actually said thank you for something he did for you. if you are one of the few who actually show appreciation towards their father, sorry. but most take the mothers side and completely ignore the father to where he doesn't want anything to do with you.

my daughter does, he lives right across the street from us. When she was born he tried to denied her by saying she was too ugly to be his daughter (just trying to hurt me).Now he just says its to far to call or come by to see her. A year ago he had another child by the woman he cheated on me with, and he is in his sons life but ignores my daughter when we see him out. Father of the Year!!
