The cool thing about AA is that it's full of people who've been where you're at and can relate.

What you can do: go to a meeting and just listen to people share.
You don't have to talk. The biggest help for you is to keep coming back.

It's wretched showing up again after you've "gone out"--what do they think, blah blah blah. You know what? You're human. Give yourself a break. And give yourself & AA another chance.

There's a saying, "Fall down 7 times, get up 8."
You can do it--just get to a meeting. Just get there.

And remember that the people there are human, too. What you can learn from is their experience. No, they don't have all the answers. But there's something very powerful and connective in the meetings, if only for the fact that we discover we're not alone.

Yes, twelve steppers often scare the manliest of men. Just remember being scared is step, oh wait it's not on here. Well just deal with it.
