yes.
it is absolutely fine.
it is entirely normal and you probably are.
now then how do you feel when you're with him?
all warm and fuzzy on the inside?
like you want to be pressed up against him?
that's a manifestation of love
like you want to be with him forever?
and no matter how he changes, or where he goes, you want to go with him? that's love
and you don't care if he looses both his arms, and both his legs an eye, and his penis in a car accident, you'd still love him?
that's really love then. not just infatuation!
happy thinking

As long as u don't do anything thats gonna cause u to get into trouble with ur parents. At 16 u think every guy u meet and like ur inlove with him. U gonna feel this way untilur an adult and know it for sure. U really really like ur b/f right now and u feel like ur in loe but it's just puppy love. When ur older u will look back and see that u were just being a 16 yr old girl who thought she was in love =-) It normal

at 16, your point of reference doesn't know anything but full, unconditional giving. (how would you know anything different? you have not learned how to hold back. that is a lesson for later.) so, for you, yes, this is love. whether you will believe this when you're older is a different matter.
with time (& maybe a little pain) you will see that there are many types & levels of love. even some strange & confusing ones. especially the difference between love & good sex. love of attention, love of being in love........but, you'll learn. that's the process called "Life".
realize that at 16, what you're experiencing may seem like the greatest, deepest kind of love, but later, you will see that it is the "young love" type of love. enjoy!

ahhh. first love..it often happens around that age...but for the love to mature takes times.. just like 40 year old who have fell in love...it takes time.. it takes time to really get to know the person...to know the maturity of the person etc...this is where young love usually falters because it happens at an age where hormones are racing and sometimes the eyes are not settled...meaning (your together but one of the two is still looking at the other 'fishes' passing by. There are a world of people out there and even after a while one starts to question oneself...I'm so young and i am already settled in with only this guy/gal... Believe you me I know..that was how my first love left...now she's with someone else and married..and i'm with someone else and married...and both of us are now in love with the people we are with... ahhh, such is the way of life...LOVE!

It is okay to think you are in love. Some couples do hook up at 16, 17. And many of these end, FALL OUT OF LOVE. Just take your time from here on in, and thing will happen - or not. Enjoy your life.

I remember when I was in "love" at 16 - and let me tell you, I was SURE I was in love...in fact, NOBODY could tell me I wasn't!! I remember crystal clearly how so many people told me it was "puppy love" until I thought I would just puke!! So if you think I'm going to advise you in that way...think again! I remember that I felt hurt that people didn't trust me enough to trust my own feelings. So, my advice to you is : follow your heart, girl and listen to the rythym! ALWAYS go with your gut feeling, and proceed with caution! Guard your heart - it's what makes you feel things - real things. I f you think things are going too fast, then they probably are and it wouldn't hurt you to slow them down a bit. Good luck, honey and be careful!

It's fine to think that you are in love at 16. Be happy, not let anyone make you think anything else. Just be careful what you do while you are in love.

Yes it is, My first love was at 16. I was totally heart broken when it was over, but it was LOVE!! Sadly, you go through some you actually love before you find the true ONE! For your sake, I hope he is the one :)
