I'm so sorry to hear about your kitten, Logan. Go ahead and cry. Go ahead and think of the baby. And think of her as she lived, as well as when she died.
When Ivan died, the veterinary clinic sent me a very nice card with a fable in it. I believe it was about the rainbow bridge. I don't think I can recall it perfectly, but I will write it down as well as I can remember it.
At the foot of a rainbow, there is a beautiful green meadow. All the animals that have ever died live here and play together. They are never sick or hungry or thirsty. They are never hurt or mistreated. But, there is one thing missing: They miss their people.
Once in a while, a person comes walking over the meadow. A head goes up, ears perk up in happiness, and perhaps a tail wags as an animal stops playing. Their person has come at last so they are no longer lonely.

Put it in a small box, maybe bury it with any toys it used to play with or maybe wrap it in an old t-shirt of yours and bury it, place some flowers on the kitty's grave. I can't really tell you what will make you feel better, except that i'm sorry that happened. We once lost a whole litter of kittens, and even though I didn't get a chance to bond with any of them, it was still hard. We put them in shoe boxes and burried them all. I know how hard it it to lose a pet. I hope you feel better soon.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I had a cat that I had to have put down in october, she had cancer. There is nothing that can be said that will make you feel better. Just remember the good times. Just like loosing a family member you will do your greeving, and in time you will move on. Here is the phone number of a pet support hotline. (508)839-7966. My heart goes out to you, good luck and god bless.

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitten! Kittens are very special. I have one as a Familiar. You loved that kitten and she/he knew it and loved you back. The little kitten will be always with you in spirit. Place a white candle next to a picture of your kitten and meditate on the love you have for your kitten; in other words, all the special things you did together. Feel glad when you think of him/her, not sad for, by being part of your life he/she will always remain in your hear. Blessings :)
Blessed Be!

Get another cat. I have 4 looking for a home. But then go down to your local shelter and get one from there. It is now the season that the shelters are filling up with kitties. I live in the Chicago Area. if you are interested.

When my cat died, I put together a photo album of the pics I had taken over the years. I cried while I was doing it, but surprisingly, it helped me through it. Hope it works for you too. It;s hard to lose a pet.

... my eyes are actually "welling" with tears, i'm so sorry for you and your kitty. i hope she had a happy life. i had many lovable cats in my life and had to burry all of them except for little annie .shes the last i will ever have shes 20 and frail... no matter how long you have them no matter their personality it is always hard to see the go... but we all go, just treasure the memories care for a propper grave and maybe get a cple new cats ...but remember never get a pet unless you are prepared to have them as a member of your family for 20 yrs.. then watch them die... i always felt the pain of watching them pass was well worth the joy they gave me while we shared a while togerther.
.... edit... i just read through all the compassionate advice above me... cat people are just so nice......

I'm so sorry. Crying and getting out is a good thing. It will just take a little time and then you will be able to think fondly of your kitty. Try to keep busy after you have a good cry.

try to endulge yourself to other things, try to mingle with friends more, dont think about your kitten too much, thinks the kitten was destined to go and it is in heaven now... Just play sports and read books.. Watch tv,, i feel your pain, wish i could do more.. good luck.. i am sure all will be ok...
