cheap shampoos strip off the hair with its oils by its alcohol content. check if shampoo has high alcohol content, ie if one of the first ingredients has alcohol on it, dont buy it. secondly, it just feels good because the shampoo covers it with wax. moral lesson, get a lil bit expensive shampoo..
but not all of us can afford salon brand shampoo, but to answer ur question, i'd go for pantene thats made in asia. the american one is crappy!

I use suave professionals for curly hair, it works pretty well. Also, after you wash it at night, put it into braids, and twist each strand before you braid it. When you get up, take your hair down and it will be really wavy and curly looking, great beach hair.

treseme is good and use nexus gel when my hair is still wet and a good leave in conditioner is got to be hottie i also use isoplus light oil sheen to give a little extra shine but dont use to much or it will just look greasey
