What can I do?

A lot of people think Im gay-not that there really is any thing wrong with being gay-but Im not. What should I do. everyone spreads it around and that effects the chances of me EVER getting a girlfriend. I am in Colledge and everyone thinks Im gay. Like I said...Im not! Please help?

Well, I sorta had this similar problem, but it isn't gay, it's something else, but that's a different story. Well my guess is grab a girlfriend outside the group or territory where the false homosexuality rumors are being spread, such as if it's being spread around your little "group" area or something like that then go find a girlfriend outside that, then bring her to your group and then you can use her to prove that group that your not gay. Besides, I think you might want to act less gay if that's why people are think that you're gay and yopu really aren't because it might misrepresent on what you are and it will give a sense of a bad reputation.

Just get a girlfriend. Maybe pretend you ARE gay at first. Women will feel less threatened, you will be able to be friends first. Then choose who you want and tell her the truth. You are what you are, don't worry about what others think so much.

Don't worry about what others think. Just be yourself and those who truly get to know the real know are the ones you should care about.

But, if you know of specific people are spreading a rumor that has affected you, there are avenues to take your complaints to. It is harrassment and all schools should have a zero tolerance policy. Talk to your counsellor.

... make as many friends in the gay community as you can ... if your straight friends are giving you grief, then dump them ... you don't need them ...
