Well you know, cats have to have they're proper name and then they're pet name. We have named all our cats, over the years, many noble names, but most commonly call them by their pet names and they answer to all names if they like them. So start with something quite royal and the pet name will come when her personality becomes more apparent as she grows. Like Cleopatra, Anastasia, and Gabrielle. We have mostly owned males but our last female we called Cunichiwa (pet name Cuni, Meep, Dakin, Little One) after the Japanese saying for good morning Konichiwa. Another suggestion could be Malverneen, which means Beloved in Gaelic.

I have one named DR. Hannibal Lector, because when he was younger his fangs showed (still do) and he would always attract my other cats and bite them on the neck. My older cats name is Puppy because while we were waiting to name her, according to personalty, we found out instead of the usual "Meow" she went "Growl-wow, growl-wow" sounded just like a puppy still does and she is 16. I would say wait and see the personalty. You don't want a cat who's sweet to be stuck with a name like Dr Lector or a mean one to be stuck with say....fluffy.
