Most salons pick there own clients, friends and fam to be models for them. only the really uppity salons, famous stylist and product lines hire models for mags and ads When they do, they use regular models from agency. there is no modeling agency that books jobs for just hair models. if you want to go that way, you have to be a fashion or print model signed to an agency. if you want to model hair and only hair, try looking in sophisticate hair mag. they have a clip and snip section in ever mag with Little pics and the salon name and location on the pic. see if you can find a salon that is near by you and give them a call. Le them know you saw that they do books and you are interested in being a model. just know that hair modeling is not about you. if you modeling for a salon, chances are, you wont be getting paid and you have to let them do whatever they want to your hair. All you get a free photo shoot and and your face in a national mag. If that not worth it to you then dont do it! Its fun to do but if your not a model with an agency, you wont be able to make a carer out if it.
