ok so i have really long hair about tha same lenth from where the rib cage ends. I'm getting a haircut and I want it about a little below the shoulders and with lengths. I'm nervous it won't look good how can i know it will look like.

i figured out it is about 6 1/2 inches off and my hair is 16 inches long

If it's more than 10" then i suggest giving it to locks of love. this way, you get your hair shorter, it's not as hot for the summer, and you'll make some kid really happy. plus, it will always grow back.

I think clairol has a website with an option to upload your personal photo & then try different hairstyles. I too have long hair. I have been growing it in order to donate it to Locks for Love. The length of hair must be at least 10 inches long. The length of your hair may be eligible for this service. Just in case you have never heard of it Locks for Love is a program where hair is donated to make wigs for those undergoing treatments which causes hair loss. I go to get my hair cut next Tue & I am nervous too. Good Luck to you! The new style will be fun, fun, fun!

I used to have longer hair than you.... then one day I went into the salon and my stylist cut it tooo short... i cryed the first day... about a month later I found this really adorible cut in a magazine shorter than what I had! so I got it.. it was cut with allota layers, side swept bangs... colored a nice deep cherry red that comes across as a darb brown in regular lighting and I couldn't have been happier with the turnout!!! it takes getting used too... but give it a week.. youll love it!

well I would have your hair cut in long layers but keep it a little below the shoulders at the first cutting. It won't be as shocking to you and you can go later and have it cut shorter if you want

Don't worry so much about what it WILL look like. Nothing is creepier (in an old fashioned way) than super long hair. Cut it.

Think twice before you do so , cause you will
be losing aproximately , 15 inches of long
hair , or just fold it up to the lenght You just want to and se it by yourself.

Get it cut and if your a real diva then you know that you look good with any hairstyle!! When u get it cut work it!!!! really long hair is not all that cute.

i think it will look awesome dont worry about it hair grows back if u dont absolutly adore it and at least ur not getting it too short, its easier.<3
