Dr. Pepper!!! Coke is nice and all. It was, after all, one of the first, if not the first, soft drinks. However, Dr. Pepper just has a much smoother taste. Coke tends to make me belch too much and it feels like it is burning the enamel off of my teeth. I think it makes my teeth feel itchy. Anybody else have that problem? I can not live without my Dr. Pepper. I drink a lot of water each day, which is healthy, but when I am in the mood for a soft drink, I get a Dr. Pepper. Have you tried the new Berries N' Cream flavored Dr. Pepper? It has been on the market since Spring. It is great! It tastes like cream soda with a hint of raspberry. Yummy! Cherry Coke can't even hold a candle to Dr. Pepper Berries N' Cream.

Well, if you are comparing sodas on a taste factor, I think Coke tends to win, but also not that you are not comparing similar products, if you wanted to compare sodas they have to have similiar taste properties. So, you would be better off comparing Dr Pepper to Cherry Coke or Cherry Pepsi, maybe even Diet Dr Pepper. Also, note that Dr. Pepper is an acquired taste, and from what I have read Dr Pepper does not contain any cola flavoring. So if you want to compare and contrast sodas, you should choose similar ones, this would make it more difficult of the answerers to choose.
