I had them back in the 70's and then it was the 20 belly shots. How do they give them now? Do they still hurt as much?

They are different now. You get a series of shots spread out over 4 weeks. The first set is given in the hips & arm. Supposedly after this first set all others are given in the arm. My daughter had to have the first set but the animal that bit her proved negative for rabies so she didn't need anymore.

I have never been given a rabies shot/s. I have been considering it though. Apparently you are required to get them when you plan to trap for furs/food. Have a nice day!

I had to get them a few years ago. It was 5 shots in the arm. The first one left me with a real sore arm, the soreness decreased with each shot.

It really was not a big deal.

Still 20 belly and *** shots. Still hurt as much.

i got mine about a year ago because a dog bit my ear and they do it by a shot in the arm and mine didnt hurt at all but i have a high pain tolerance so it depends on your tolerence but i can almost guarentee that it doesnt hurt as much knowing how much things have changed from 30 years ago.... lol
