I think it's normal to live in this world and fear God's will. It's pretty hard to do some of the things he requests of us. Just be certain that it his will and obey his command. He will never leave you. If you do have a personal relationship with Christ than he will ask much of you. You will always be rewarded for trusting in him.

I'm not sure exactly how you mean this question. In other words, are you talking about the fear of what the consequences of God's will might be for you? Or are you talking about the fear of doing God's will? In the first case, it would help to know (as someone else has said) that God's will is based on His love for you and not some twisted idea that He's out to get you. Whatever His will is, it is ultimately for the best for you and everyone. And He can succeed in accomplishing the best for you where no human can, provided you are willing to "not resist" too much. In the second case, the fear of doing God's will, that may come from the fear of losing control or any number of other things. If that is the case, the only thing that will help is to realize that we are truly nothing without God - just a breath that passes away, except that He chooses in His infinite love to sustain us. And He chooses to sustain us forever, for even after we die He will raise us up to life again. So when we realize that we are nothing without Him, and begin to humble ourselves a little before His awesome greatness and incomparable love for us, perhaps we can be willing to let Him take control of our lives a bit without being afraid of our losing control, since our sense of control is an illusion anyway.

I hope this helps. Pray, ask Him for peace in your heart and for enlightenment, and believe that He will truly grant it to you.

I haven't overcome the fear of doing God's will when it is set in my heart, BUT, once I go to do what I feel I need to, funny thing, it's like God just takes over and gives me the words tosay or the courage to continue and it's no real big deal at those points.

One way to overcome this fear is to consider passages in the Bible that depict God as having maternal, loving charcteristics --like those of a nursing mother who feeds us and cares for us in a gentle way.

I am posting a website url which lists some of these passages below.

By realizing that God's will for you is your will. By realizing that God gave us the power (free will) to create our own reality.

The universal law of attraction suggests that the vibrations (via our conscious or unconscious beliefs, thoughts, words, actions) that we put into the world, and whether they are positive or negative, love-based or fear-based, lead to the events that we experience in return, in one form or another. These vibrations occur singly, by individuals and collectively, by societies and cultures.

This is how:

Virgin Birth - Was it a preconceived notion?

What is the Imacculate Conception?

An Imacculate Deception?

Did Jesus give up Saturday for us?

Jesus? Christianity? .

If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.

Gods do not die? Do they?

If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides Saturday was sacrificed?

If Jesus died for our sins, there should not be any more sins, else why go through with it?.

If Jesus really DIED, he should be dead, dead, dead!

If you swallow this stuff, you are not going to like the folks who don't. You want them to swallow it too.

By trusting in His love. His word says that "perfect love casts out fear." Check it out for yourself.

He wants to give you abundant life. He loves you; He's not out to get you!

read Job, there may be trouble but in the end it will turn out best!

Then read samuel and see how Saul learned obedience is better than sacrifice to the Lord!

By dumping the religous organization that put that crap into your head.

It's not god that's the problem, it's his army of self appointed workers".
