You gotta scare the crap out of him. I have the perfect way to scare him, but he might piss his pants and be mad at you for a few days. You have to figure out what's better....hick-ups all night long or one pissed off little kid with a pair of pissy pants.
Show him this web site....follow these instructions.
Click onto the link below. When you get there....click the yellow GO button. It will bring up the Jingle Bell song. Click on the yellow GO button again to listen to Jingle Bells played normally. When you're heard it...click the GO button again to listen to Jingle Bells played in reverse. You'll hear a subliminal message....kinda scary!

This can work:
Ready a teaspoon full of sugar. Hold it full, over a bowl or the sink or something...just like cough syrup right before you take it.
Breathe out all the way, slowly, until you are ready to inhale again
Swallow the teaspoon of sugar. This will take a moment because it has to get wet and will be very thick
Breathe in again--slowly and stay calm
This seems to reset the system

Hiccuping is not medically dangerous. What causes it is still something of a mystery, but it is known that the vagus nerve, which innervates the diaphragm, plays a major role. Have him breathe into a paper bag. Carbon dioxide levels in his blood will rise, which will stimulate his diaphragm to slow down, thus stopping the hiccups.

A friend of the family gave me a surefire cure for hiccups.
Wait for a breather between two hiccups and drink a teaspoon of white vinegar. It works. I've been doing it for 13 years.

He will be ok. I've heard that taking small sips of water from a glass for 30-60 seconds might work.

He'll be okay, but there is no way to get rid of the hiccups. One man hiccuped continuously for 21 years, and he''s still alive and kickin'!!!

if they persist take him to a doc. Hiccups are spasms of the diaphram and can cause damage if they persist too long. Also you need to be aware that they can be symptomatic of a tear in the lining of the esophogus.

Don't worry, the record for hiccuping is 76 years, he has no way of passing that record.
