Heck yeah! Even if the seventeen year old is intelligent and mature, even if she "loves" him, (as if she's even capable at this age to differentiate between extreme hormonal "crush/lust" type feelings, and practical, relationship love), you need to keep him away. The very fact that he thinks it's o.k. to mess with an underage girl doesn't bode well for an adult relationship. There is a chance if he is allowed to see her she could end up pregnant and just waste her life chasing some 33 year old pervert. If they had kids she'd really have to watch when they got to a certain age, as apparently he goes for the younger types.
Unless the 33 year old is mentally impaired (beyond being pervy) there is absolutely no good reason why he should be messing with such a young girl. What do you think could come out of this relationship? What do you think his real interest in her is? It's not like a 33 year old is going to mess w/ a 17 year old for all the many things they have in common and their great conversation. You know what I mean?

depends on what state you are in. I am in NY and here 17 is leagal consent for sex. at that point theres nothing you can do and even so you would have to prove that they are having sex and not just good friends. I was 13 was dating a 20 year old. we didn't have sex till I was 16. I am 24 now and we have been married for 4 years. there are still some men out there that amazingly just connect better with younger women. don't judge a person by their age. its just a number. get to know him then judge him. in another year it wont matter anyways. she will be 18 and considered an adult and will do what she wants regardless. my suggestion is talk to her, meet him, get to know him, if you still don't like him BASED ON HIM NOT HIS AGE, then talk to her again. but the decision is hers to make not yours.

Yes because it is concidered illegal because it is best for the girl to wait until the age of 18 or older if she doesnt want the 33 year old to get arrested.

Did you know that the old guy from Rolling Stones (Bill Whyman?) married his girlfriend when she was 19 (he was about 60) and apparently they'd been dating since she was 13. Disgusting huh? But the parents apparently approved; well he was a famous rich old dude so maybe they were hoping to reap the rewards.

for one thing the age of consent in this country is 16.
for another she's nearly 18 anyway, and she probably wanted to have that experience with him.
