yellow is a good color for a bedroom. You wake to sunshine everyday. Doesn't have to be a bright yellow either.. maybe a pale yellow. Have fun

Hey. No reason to stress about color choices. Go to a decorating store and look at the lovely throwpillows in different patterns and pick one out that has all of the colors you fall in love with. Now take it home and pick 3 colors from this item (it can be a piece of fabric or a poster,or painting). Use the most neutral as your color pallet for the walls and the other two as accents. Maybe trim, or pillows/curtains, etc. This is a "decorators tip". Perk up, it's very easy!

Obviously it is the wrong blue. I understand your delimna and I think your mom had the right idea because it can be such a soothing color. Think of the ocean. Picture the sky on a sunny day. Your favorite freinds eyes. I would stick to blue for cheerful and serenity. If you need help in picking just the right hue of blue email me something with a hint of what blue makes you phyched.

last month I've read about color blue room, it says that a color blue room makes a baby cry. Well, I sugest to use a light color or a pastel color to relax your eye and mind. Avoid neon colors. You can put some colorful paintings to add life. Remember bedroom is definitely a resting place for you.

well, blue is a drepressing or tranquilizing color, acording to color psychology
green can be a nice option, is refreshing and vitalizing.
try combining them, make 3 walls green and 1 blue, or maybe try lavender too, what I was thinking is to maybe use a light shade of green and a darker one for details... curtains or other things in your room may just add an extra touch of color ... try to use colors that remind you of a garden a field full of wild flowers or something like that... well its an opinion

Try yellow with blue and green. That would look really cute and would be a happy color and still have your fav. colors in it! Do one bright shade of yellow and mix all different blues and greeens and aquas.

Why not go for something really funky, like: Tie dye colors, or bright pink with purple, or lime green and hot pink.
