you don't say where you're from so I will assume you're from within the USA.
Not much... just proper identification (driver's license, voter card, birth certificate, etc.) Passports are only for traveling outside the USA.
so grab a map, camera, suitcase and have fun!!!

All three of you should have a photo I.D. I believe a drivers license is good for your parents, but for you you could go get an I.D. at the DMV, that's where I got mine (I'm only 15, so I didn't have an permit yet). They have the requirements to get one on the DMV website if you need one.
If any of you have any health issues that require prescription medicines (such as diabetes, allergies, etc.), you should get a travel letter from your doctor(s) stating what condition you have and why you are carrying these supplies. Some doctors offices have them already made to fill in, just ask. Also, put the prescriptions on all your medicines, or carry them with you.
Also, it might be helpful to put your name and phone number on all your luggage, in cast of a mix up. Keep a carry-on bag with you on the plane with some toiletries, medicines, a change of clothes, snacks, things to do, etc. In case your luggage ends up in Georgia or Montana somehow.
Have a fun trip! And remember; the best thing to bring on a trip is a good attitude, cause anything could happen.

You won't need anything other than what you have now. Your parents should take your birth certificate just in case anyone needs proof of ID (unlikely) and your parents should take their drivers licenses or photo id too. But its just the same as where you are now. No one cares, its when you travel outside the US when you need special documents and all. The plane is just like a car! No biggie, so have fun all of you and don't worry ok?

A carry on case that has a change of clothes, your toiletries, and your valuables. If it's a long trip a little u shaped pillow is a plus. Headphones and tunes are great for waiting in airports.
Pack as many things as possible inside ziplock baggies so the DOT don't have to touch your underwear and such. They also appreciate it. Wear shoes that are easy to get off and on for the body searches etc.
No sharp objects, pocketknives, matches, if in doubt pack it in the check in bags.
Don't over pack your check ins, they will probably make you pay more for anything over their limit, usually 50 lb. You don't want to pack too much anyway, its a pain to lug around. Have dollar bills handy for the little carts that you can load your stuff onto. They usually cost $2, and worth it.
Happy travels!

There was a discussion on children traveling alone the other day, so I wrote TSA (the folks who handle airport security) to clear the matter up.
Here is a 'cut & paste' from the email they sent me, that will just happen you answer your question too.
If you have a paper ticket for a domestic flight, passengers age 18 and over must present one form of photo identification issued by a local state or federal government agency (e.g.: passport/drivers license/military ID/current student id with photo), or two forms of non-photo identification, one of which must have been issued by a state or federal agency (e.g.: U.S. social security card).
Passengers under 18 should provide two forms of non-photo identification, one of which must have been issued by a state or federal agency (e.g.: U.S. social security card, birth certificate, current student id with photo). For an international flight, you will need to present a valid passport, visa, or any other required documentation. Passengers without proper ID may be subject to additional screening or even denied boarding. For e-tickets, you will need to show your photo identification and e-ticket receipt to receive your boarding pass.

Being that you are under 18, you need no form of ID to travel with in the US. If you go to Canada or Mexico, just a copy of your birth certificate or passport if you enter by land, passport only if you enter by air.
Your parents will however need valid, unexpired form of ID such as a driver's liscense or passport.
