could it be psychic abilities? do you hear far away voices that you cant quite understand as you start to fall asleep? maybe someone found they are able to get through to you from the other side and they are trying to tell you something that they need help with or trying to warn you.

either that or way too much LSD. (just kidding about this part)

Several possible causes:

1. You have the image of Death painted on the inside of your eyelids.
2. You have bigger mental problems than I know how to solve.
3. You just have a vivid imagination.
4. (most likely) You're just making this up.

Because you contemplate questions like: "You are on a plane and see your friend Jack on board. Is it OK to shout down the cabin hi JACK!?" (See the actual Yahoo! Answers question. It's kind of funny, but an old joke.)

This kind of idea is likely to play upon anyone's mind after a while as you imagine an air marshal rightfully putting holes into you while the passengers cheer him on.

Maybe you watch too many scary movies, or have a death wish. If you can remember what you were dreaming about, write it down as much as you can. When you get volumes of notes, perhaps you can write a story and maybe, you can be the next Stephen King!

You may be having some serious stress-related issues regarding death or change. You might consider seeking some professional help sorting out your problems.

what are you watching for movies, and what are you reading for books and what kind of songs are you listening too??? if its none of those I suggest you see your doctor and he or she can refer you to some mental help clinic to get to the reason for all this. This must be very uncomfortable for you. Good Luck!

Maybe it was the affect of a horror movie you saw once. Go to therapy and it might clear your mind.

sounds like depression. i went through that once. it was all i could think about so i went to my doctor. i had experienced a lot of emotional trauma at the time and it caused me to become depressed. depression makes you think about the worst things in life-maybe you should see a doctor
