No, in fact baby girls are generally taken out back and buried alive for the heinous sin of being born as girls.

I don't know about babies but yes the little girls do wear long robes. I doubt if the men in that culture do any childcare let alone change diapers. Girls of a certain age must cover their hair but I don't know what the age is. This may also depend on what part of the world they live in. Here in Indiana they cover their hair not their faces.

Thanks for your question.

Women are required to observe wearing the Hijab,( scarf) and to wear loose fitting clothes at the age of Puberty. that is why we wear the "long black robes" because it is a form of modesty, which doesnt show the shape of the body.

With reguard to covering the face, Some scholars say it is required. however, the stronger opinion is that it is not required but highly recommended.

and Yes, fathers are allowed to change the dipers of babies. whether it be their's or not.

A women(after age of puberty) in Islam must be covered in front of all males that are not related. (brothers, father, uncles, grandfather, nephew, husband, son).

and to the person who said that we bury girls alive. i'm sorry for your ignorance, because that was PRE-islam. Islam abolished that practice. and the Prophet Peace and blessings be upon him even said that, if there were ONE sin that a person would still be held accountable after converting to Islam, it would be the sin of killing/burying a baby girl alive. but since all sins are erased when one converts, that is not the case. but it just shows the gravity of the sin.

wallahu alem (and Allah knows best)
I hope that answered your question.

May Allah guide us all to the truth. ameen.

As a Muslim (thank god), NO not at all, and not ever, the black robes are just a tribal trend and in very few Muslim countries, and for sure fathers can change diapers , and all is premitted, until the girl reaches maturity.
and the head cover - along with the body except face and hands and feet-,is a favoured ritual after maturity.
