Just trying to find any of the WWII Veterans my Dad served with in the war. He was with Co. A, 202nd Combat Engineers (Army). Any info will be appreciated.

I would go to www.military.com

Also contact your local American Legion, or a VFW.

I was a combat engineer for 10 years and I found a lot of people at military.com One can look up the unit individually and that helps a lot. Good luck

Jessie's right! www.military.com allows you to register and then add your Dad's old unit as a contact and then view other members that have added that unit. You can also write to Army Times (a newspaper) and place an add under Lost Buddies. Good luck!

visit your local VFW, and they should have contact sources. I know I am a ex-vet and have a hard time contacting my old Army friends. I'm probably going to have to visit the Army.gov.mil webpage to look them up. In your case, they probably won't be found on the internet.

contact The American Legion. Should be a web site like amlegion.com or something. Google it. They are heavy with WW2 vets.
