If you have no budgetary limits, you have many, many options. I would recommend the Ping G5's (if you can stand their looks) or the Mizuno Mx-900s. These are both extremely forgiving clubs that are geared toward the beginner. Expect to spend close to a thousand bucks, though.
For those on a budget, the Adams Idea OS set for men is probably the best product on the market. They are very forgiving clubs that are very good quality for a good price. The set includes wood-like hybrids for the 3 and 4 irons, iron-like hybrids for the 5 and 6 irons, and regular cavity backs for your 7-PW irons. This set can be found on eBay for $369 or mid-$400's retail.
If you are just trying out golf experimentally, then buy a set of used clubs. Make sure they have cavity backs though, because used or not, you want the most forgiving clubs as a beginner.
Hope this is helpful!

You need to play 5 or 6 months before you know what type of club you will need or want. Best thing to do is borrow a set or buy a used set form pawn shop or play it again sports. Something with a bigger sweet spot will be great. You don't need all the clubs at first a starter set will do. Save your money for the next set.

All major brands have clubs for beginners. Find a game improvement set that you think looks nice.

doesn't matter. practice matters and lots of it if possible. buy a used set to start with and try to play with someone who has been playing the game for a few years. do this before investing money on new clubs and or lessons from a pro.

Get a used set from the Salvation Army. After you get a little more of a feel for it, you can invest a little money in a starter set.

Cheapest one. Borrow, steal or buy second hand. Play these a year or two, then you know what you like.
