If I want to become a social worker what do I need to major in in college?

The best thing to do is to check with the college for this answer.
Many colleges have a social worker degree available.
As a former foster parent, I dealt with SW's all the time, and it seemed that most of them had schooling in sociaology, psychology, etc.
